Look back from my vacation in Canada part 2.

(English text after Norwegian)

Yesterday I write about my vacation in Canada  Tilbakeblikk fra min ferie i Canada part 1.

Helt greit at balkongen var høyt over bakken.

Moraine Lake Lake Louise Banff nationalpark Edmonton The province of Alverta Canada

reservatet.

Canada first nation indianland in canada Edmonton Alberta Banff

Her midt i

villmarka kunne vi se ørner som fløy høyt over fjelltoppene.  Det var ganske så magisk.

En gang indianernes land.

Elk Canada Banff

Glacier National park Banff Rocky mountain Svawapta Lake Athabascha glacier of Colombia icefield visit canada

Glacier National Park.

Sitte rundt bålet midt i villlmarka, se opp

Savner deg pappa<3

Look back from my vacation in Canada part 2.

The first picture is the view from the mountain cabin in Banff. A cottage that had two floors, several bathrooms and several fireplaces. It was like coming straight into an American movie. I have the wonderful nights dream and felt like a sleeping beaty in the big double bed ….What a feeling🦋

The morning coffee for this view I will never forget. Here there were coyotes, elks and squirrels who came to visit. All right, the balcony was high above the ground, and I feel safe, but someone got squirrels in their pants….

Take a good look at picture three above. It is outstanding. I never stop wondering about the mountains over there. My mind often began to dream… and dream… and I took a break from the reality and just dreaming. Very heartfelting, but in a good way.

It was a great summer and very hot, but snow in the mountains lay there all year, almost.

Rocky Mountains stand out as a gigantic fortress and powder snow and ski slopes better than the Alps and cheaper to go for those who like it.

Banff is an experience of the rare. This is a place that is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage.

In Banff it was like coming straight into a James Bond movie that I once saw. Felt almost as I walked the «scenery», I had a weird feeling. The others had to laugh a little bit of me, and that’s okay, while I am the strangest in the family too …

Jasper give me the same feeling. You just have to experience it.

The picture (6 and 7 from above) of waterfalls is from the mountain in Lake Louise. Waterfalls so beautiful and lovely. The water was so clear that we saw the bottom. Absolutely beautiful, and unique color.

Rocky Mountain, Banff and Jasper have a view I never seen before. A wild nature that makes me become speechless. A wild nature that fells like home to me. I realy miss this country.

We were lucky enough to see these mountain goats, snow goats. They are related to the European gemsen. They lay there and looked out over the beautiful mountains and water of nature. They didn’t care much if we stopped going out of the car to film them either. They was so pretty and and they looked very proud there they where laying.

We were also lucky to spot a coyote on our trip. They are pretty shy, but they got up and we went out of the car to take a picture. It sneaked into the woods again. Here in the middle of the wilderness we could see eagles flying high above the mountain peaks. It was quite magical.

I hardly got my, feelings, mind or eyes from this nature and the experiences. If only I could stop the time.

Supported and constantly we experienced an elk (wapiti) or more who strolled around the city.

They cost themselves with flower boats from boxes, baskets and more of the wild variety. We came this very close. It passed there we sat on the edge of the flower box. Wonderful experience, but I remember I was holding my breath.

Glacier National Park van you see in the last picture. Here you could take your family on tours and expeditions with guides. We stopped at Sunwapta Lake and walked up to the Athabasca glacier of Columbia icefield.

We explored this glacier a little bit ourselves. It was realy nice and wonderful that too.

This was a bit of my trip to Canada ❤

I hope someday I can return to my family here. Sit around the campfire in the middle of the wilds, watch the sun set with the flames and images in the sky for a good old-fashioned tradition of the indian people, (First Nation).

I am so glad and grateful I experienced this trip with my dad.

A good memory for life, and I look back with tears in the eyes of how much this meant to him, and me, my sister and our children.

A memory we take a look back and often when we are together, and I can not describe in words what it means to me and us.

I and my sister have, though, against all odds, that had it not been for his ability to care and love, we had not been the ones we are today.

He said he was proud of us, he said he loved us, and he told his grandchildren how much they meant to him, how much him care about them and he was not afraid to show it.

Miss you dad ❤

    1. Hello. Nice to «meet» you. Yes, I am Norwegian and yes, it can be a bit like Norway. Norway has special nature with rivers and fjords and mountains and expanses. I was in Northern Norway last summer and it also takes my breath away. Will post about it also gradually.
Thank you for your coment and reading my post, and the feedback. I really appreciate🦋 You warm my heart🦋

      1. I have actually been in Norway a few times, Oslo of course trying my Norwegian now ok 👍 Akersbygge, and Haugesund came from north Trondhjem via Trollvejien and Geiranger, also went over Hardangervidda 😂 or how it should be spelled, very beautiful country

      2. Your Norwegian is great😀 Hardangervidda is beatiful, and sitting in the middle of no man’s land and watching the sunset is no word I can find that explains how nice it is.
Geiranger, Trondhjem og Trollstigen is so lovely.
        I never been to Haugesund…
You have seen a lot of Norway and you are lucky. An experience you will remember and a nice memory🦋

      3. Forget Haugesund, was a very narrow road that took forever to go, and I only found one bar open, but it was some years ago, maybe should fly out there instead, carry on writing nice stories 👍

      4. Okei, I forget👍🏻😊 but Norway is so much more to experience, maybe one day you come back😊

  1. I know what it is like losing a father. The important thing is you have memories like this to look back on, and this seems an amazing memory. It is funny, I remember in school using Banff as the location for my project I was doing. It looked amazing and I always wanted to go since.

Ps… your pictures are even more amazing in part two, loved them!! My only feedback would be maybe have the English text directly under the Norweigan so that when you are talking about the photos they are right there to look at… but that is just me maybe. Whatever works easier for you and your readers!

    Thanks for the post 🙂

    1. Thank you very much, yes, that was the worst thing that could happen in my life -my father’s death, to put it that way. That said, I am very grateful for your encouragement and understanding and support🦋

I hope someday you can go to Banff, it’s absolutely amazing over there. I had a great challenge with choosing which photos to join in the post.

I actually thought about it with the text, and I became a little too selfish there I see now. I thank you for being honest, that way I can only get better.
It will probably be easier to read the blog as well. When I post about Norway I will remember to do the writing in English after the pictures.

Thank you so much😊 I am grateful.
Happy blogging and make you a great day🦋

(my readers are mostly you great people from all corners of the world, and those who are Norwegian think it is ok anyway)

      1. No problem, and there is no selfishness at all! The selfishness is from us readers giving our opinions xD

I understand it is harder to post Norweigan and English under the same image, so don’t worry and keep it like you are! Most people might enjoy it the way it is. Whatever you enjoy doing the most is most important 🙂

I hope you have a great day.
