Midsummer night

In the sunset on a beach in the world

somewhere a girl dances around the

bonfire to the music in her mind

she danced like nobody was watching

she danced of the rhythm of her heartbeat

her spirit in the sky

elves in the flames

nymphs in the ocean

lures and plays

from the forest shadows the trolls are

blinked with their eyes

a hulder is waving her tail and

licking around the mouth with her

poisonous tongue

a wonderful delight night

scary night

among sorcery and magic

that girl danced herself into

the heart of the key to the

Midsummer night treasure.

No questions involved in this award but we must share our experience with an act of kindness we did or witnessed.

What Is The Blogger’s Recognition Award? [B.R.A] as explained by Ribana:

This Award is a way of acknowledging the work load, the creativity that bloggers put into their blogs. Running and maintaining a blog isn’t just about writing something  and then knocking it out to the readership – that is the core element of blogging, but not everything. There is much much more to keeping a blog running, functioning and being presentable each day of each week of every month.

Bloggers are very talented people – they work hard, they promote market, advertise, and run a busy site.

They organize all kinds of activities; they encourage, motivate, interact, engage and are community orientated. It matters not if they are shy and reticent or loud and personable – each actively progressive blogger is the same – they all work hard and passionately with their blogs, they put the hours in to deliver to their audience each day a welcoming location to read, absorb, learn and have fun.

To escape the hustle bustles of city life, or the begrudgeries of boredom – they entice readers to peruse their pages to look for entertainment.

That is what the BRA celebrates.

Award RULES:

• Thank the nominator, and publish a post on your blog about receiving the Blogger Recognition Award. Make sure to provide a link to the nominator’s blog in your post.

• Give a brief story of how your blog started.

• Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

• Nominate other bloggers for this award, and inform them of their nomination.

//

How my blog started:

I started blogging because I think I was not alone about what I went through and what I experienced from childhood, and up to adulthood. Being able to reach someone with my writings, art and poems and small stories became important to me, and be able to tell you that you are not alone whatever part of the world you come from.

When I blogging I can feel deep in my soul that is a healing prosess too.

I still have to blog because it turned out I am not alone and there are many great people out there with a heart of gold and beautiful souls. I am motivated by all of you lovely souls and inspired. It is much love and we are caring for each other. Much of support and I am very grateful for all of you.

Since I was 9 years old I have heard how stupid and unhelpful it was to write poems and draw and paint.

I hid in the nature behind a tree and drawn and write my words from within. When I got home I hid it in a tray with key and the key I also hid.

Now I am an adult I have found back to my artistic soul and poet in me. My soul feels like home❤️It can be seen on the blog that I have changed my pace with myself, and I am also poet and artist on instagram.

I have hopes, dreams and visions for Orkidedatter, I hope to master something in the future.

My advice:

Write from your heart and soul be genuine.

I don’t like posts just to «like», I spend a lot of time reading and liking and commenting. What I like – hit me in the heart or soul or touch me somehow.

Be kind and respectful and be supportive is important to me also.

It is to me very very important to think «everyone has a past and learned and experienced good and bad. I’m not going to judge. I have an open mind»

Please, don’t repost or copy if you have not clarified it with the authort who own the words or art.

Feel free to write about this awards, I am not nominate no one.

Many bloggers also deserve this award but unfortunately, they don’t like or do awards.

Have a lovely weekend.

Guidelines of 3.2.1 Quote Me!

1. Thank the Selector

2. Post 2 quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day.

Thank you so much Al who are the writer behind the blog

https://wifeblah.com

She is a versatile writer with and when I visit her blog I never know what to find or read.

She writes from the heart and always has some good quotes on her page.

I love them.

She is a nurse, and she write sometimes about it

I love her Apology from a nurse.

I interpret Al with a heart of gold and a beautiful soul who wants everyone’s best.

Much love and caring.

Please, visit her blog and follow if you do not already.

//

My first quote is from Mother Teresa:

«DO SMALL THINGS WITH GREAT LOVE»

– Having grown older, these powerful words have become important to me.

To show those who matter most to me that I love them and hope they appreciate what I do.

Therefore, it is important for me to live up to these words. Not least to teach it to the younger one in the family.

It is importent to me to think about, there are some who love you anyway and you are priceless to them.

//

My second quote is:

I Norwegian…

«- Hvordan staver man kjærlighet? spurte Nasse Nøff.

– Man staver ikke kjærlighet, man føler den, svarte Ole Brumm.»

—Alan Alexander Milne

In English:

«- How do you spell love? asked Piglet

– You do not spell love, you feel it, answered Winni the Pooh».

As a little girl I was very found of Winnie the Pooh and his friends and I read books by them and saw them on TV.

From the first time I read this lines, I just know what love was.

Not love like in a realitionship, but love to the world and what’s in it.

For example, what I felt in my little child’s heart when it came to animals, the nature, flowers, rivers and fjords and the forest.

Quote art interpretation.

Well, Orkidedatter read a post at

Nathan who are the author behind the blog

https://themythofprometheus.wordpress.com

Please, check this blog out if you have not already done it.

Nathan is a such beyond good writer and artist, and often he «blew me away» with his words.

I have to read them twice because, ok, I am Norwegian and have to understand the language first of all. But, I really want to sense what a author write when I read something. I want to get a movie in my mind and feel the rush… Feel all the emotions I as a reader have a desire to feel all the emotions I’m invited by the author to feel in my heart and soul. A desire to be touched and moved and dive into the author’s ocean of words to interpret what he or she is writing.

On Nathan’s blog when I read it, I do feel like I am swimming in words among stars in the moonlight where I stand as a shadow of his skills… with my little spark and your always support I will shine on my blog too.

I deeply appreciate your time and your feedback.

Nathan, I am so overwhelmed to be able to call you my friend, thank you.

//

I hadn’t heard of this quote before, but it hit me hard in my heart and my artist’s soul began to paint a picture in my mind.

I just knew I had to paint it. I found my paint brush and draw stuff to get my interpretation down on the paper.

I got this quote from Nathan’s blog

without more words, here is my art, and interpretation of the quote:

Thank you Nathan for your inspiration and my soul was dancing all the time during this work.

Chain-letter

On happiness, harmony & joy.

I received one slightly different sort of piece from my good friend Nathan who is the author behind this blog:

https://themythofprometheus.wordpress.com

Please visit his site and he will blew you away with his magical talent and captivate you with his words. At least I am enthralled, and I deeply appreciate you Nathan and your friendship, I am one of your fan you know.

Thank you.

Well, I hope more of you out there like these to quotations well as me. I love them actually. I think both of them qualify under both -happiness- harmony & joy.

//

The rules for this “chain-letter” are quite simple:

1. Thank the selector

2. Post two quotations for the dedicated “Topic of the Day” (in this case, “happiness”)

3. Select three bloggers to take part in “3-2-1 Quote Me!”

//

The first quotation I would like to share is my absolutely favorite:

«The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart»

-Helen Keller-

These words got my soul home. When I first read these words, I started crying. It was at a store and I sat down next to this sign that these words were on.

My dad said, «You can’t sit here crying my girl,» but I didn’t care. Because the feeling in my heart and mind is inexplicable, but I knew my soul loved these words and still does.

This quote is to me «harmony in a human being.

To be in touch with yourself, all of yourself.

Body, mind, heart, soul and spirit.

And happiness, because if you think about positive thoughts and let the positive grow within you can feel happiness.

//

The second quotation I would like to share it’s one I’ve been fond of in recent years:

«Today you can live so that someone tonight is happy that you are»

-unknown-

Unfortunately, I do not find out who is behind these words. If anyone knows, I appreciate knowing it.

These words are on a sign I have at home. I bought it for some year ago when I got sick.

I was at my «darkest place»in life and I should not mention more about it, but this sign was like «talking» to me, and I just had to go to read what was written on it.

I thought those words I should read every day and hide in my heart. I will take them forward and and tell it aloud to myself when the «dark thoughts» come in my mind.

I love these words, because to me, they are magical in a way maybe only I understand.

These words are like happiness, harmoni & joy too me, as I interpret them.

//

OK, now I have talked enough and again written from the depths of my soul and my heart. So I have to stop myself.

I don’t know if I’ve done it right, but it also goes well that too, because two quotes have become.

Thank you so much for this differently posts. I really enjoy it.

Nathan: I am sorry it took so long time before I got written and posted it.

Angel of death

(English text after the Norwegian text)

Hun ligger i en seng av drømmer

av mareritt

som en bølge på havet

hennes hår hviler på puta

hun ser ut som en engel

var det noen som sa

kanskje dødens engel

hun kan høre sin sjel hviske

ditt navn

hun har mistet grepet

hul innvendig

salte dråper triller fra hennes

øyne av ærlighet

minner av deg dekker

hennes hjerte

konstant smerte

vil det noen sinne slutte

å gjøre vondt

hver tanke er skygget av deg

hun tar tak i en nål og tråd

prøver å sy igjenn hennes arr

hun vil aldri føle seg såret igjen.

Angel of death

She is laying in a bed of dreams

of nightmares

like a wave on the ocean her

hair rests on the pillow

she looks like an angel

someone said

maybe the angel of death

she can hear her soul whisper

your name

she has lost her way

hollow inside

salty drops falling from her

eyes of honesty

memories of you cover her heart

constant pain

will it ever stop hurting

every thought is shadowed by you

she grabs a needle and thread

tries to sew her scars

she will never feel hurt again.

-Orkidedatter-

A feeling…

A feeling

embraces my

heart and soul

where my spirit

hunts around

in eternity for

answers

then I realize

…I wanting what

does not exist…

//

Ramyani’s questions and my answers:

1. If you could be any character of a movie, book or tv series, who would you be and why?

Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) in the tv series, FRIENDS.

Because: I just love that character, reminds me of someone….

2. Would you rather be jack of all trades or master of one?

Master of one. I like to master what I do.

3. What is ‘home’ to you?

«My home is where my heart is»

Because, If I can feel it in my heart and «feel at home», it does not matter what or where I call home.

4. What’s your opinion on second chances?

Some deserve a second chance if they change behavior, ask for forgiveness that must come from the heart and they must show that they mean it. We all can do mistakes, but everyone is not willing to realize that they have made mistakes, apologize or be humble or would go on

And it depends on what they have done.

5. Describe a perfect day.

Wow, oi… a perfect day can be so much to me, because I choose to look after the perfect in almost every day and in the small moments of life that are so easy to forget.

But, a day in Greece on the beach all day, the ocean and the sunset, good food in the late evening, music, dance, family and friends. Just be in the moment and converse and having fun….

6. Does being rich and famous appeal to you?

Sometimes I dream about it and what I can do for others if I had been rich and famous.

It’s not important to me, but I would love to help others …

7. Do you want people to know you or do you want to stay anonymous?

I want people to know me for who I am, but I like to be anonymous too.

Yes, I know, I am complicated…

8. What’s your favourite Disney animated movie?

Awe, I love Disney… but I choose «Lion King».

9. Who’s your favourite villain?

I do not think I have any favorite villain.

10. DC or Marvel?

No one.

11. What is the  best thing about blogging?

I meet so many beautiful souls with hearts of gold, thank you all, I deeply appreciate❤️

//

Thank you so much Ramyani. I am so proud to be a part of your journey.
